Managed networking and cloud services provider Masergy Communications has acquired security company Global DataGuard.
By acquiring Global DataGuard, Masergy wants to enhance its existing managed security portfolio with adaptive network behavioral analysis and advanced persistent threat management technologies.

Masergy’s Security as a Service (SaaS) offering now includes Unified Enterprise Security, which provides APT management, vulnerability management, a intelligence dashboard, patented adaptive and predictive network behavioral analysis, security information and event management, intrusion detection, and monitoring and reporting services provided by certified security analysts.
