Cloud security company Total Defense has updated its Business platform to include email archiving and data leakage prevention.
The new email archiving system enables small and mid-size organizations to easily access archived email data while ensuring compliance with federal laws and regulations. Furthermore, the update includes new dashboard views and detailed reports.
The cloud-based data leakage prevention solution, Total Defense DLP, is designed to enforce data privacy and confidentiality within a company’s IT infrastructure. This is particularly important for companies that handle personally identifiable information.
“A common misconception is that compliance is an ‘enterprise-only’ problem, however regulations don’t differentiate between large and small businesses. Often, the small to mid-sized enterprise is at greater risk as they frequently operate without the personnel or expertise available to get them back into compliance,” noted Paul Lipman, CEO of Total Defense.
“Both our email archiving and DLP solutions are designed to enable organizations of any size to achieve compliance more efficiently, via the cloud, regardless of their expertise or capabilities.”
