Quick Heal Technologies General Manager Accused of Defrauding the Company


Quick Heal GM arrested on suspicion of defrauding the company

A general manager of Quick Heal Technologies, the India-based IT security company known for products such as Quick Heal Total Security and Quick Heal Endpoint Security, has been accused of defrauding the company of Rs 1.24 crore ($199,160 / €145,737).

According to Mid-Day, 41-year-old Pradeepkumar Laxmikant Dixit created two companies – Mind Flash Infotech Pvt Ltd and Yanava – in the names of his wife and other relatives. Then, he appointed them as distributors of Quick Heal Technologies.

The security company discovered the fraudulent activities during an investigation into distributor payments.

The man is said to have abused his position with Quick Heal since 2003. During this period, he channeled a total of Rs 1.24 crore ($199,160 / €145,737) towards his own firms.

Dixit has been arrested based on a complaint filed against him by the company with the Vishrambaug police.
