Website of Thailand Police Hacked and Defaced

Thai Police website breached

A subdomain of the Thailand Police (finance.police.go.th) website has been breached by a hacker called Striker Rude of Maximizers Team. The hacker uploaded a defacement page (PHP file) to the website.

“Owned By The Rude | Team MaXiMiZerS. Secure it Before i come again,” reads a message posted by the hacker.

At the time of writing, the  page is still online. A mirror is available on Dark-H.

This particular subdomain of the Thailand Police website appears to be highly vulnerable. The same site was defaced by Pakistani hackers back in 2012.

Earlier this week, Striker Rude targeted a couple of high-profile sites from India, namely the ones of the Central Bank of India (centralbankofindia.co.in) and the State Bank of Patiala (sbp.co.in). Recently, his group has also attacked government sites from Bangladesh and Morocco.
